Lend A Trailer is America's peer to peer trailer lending marketplace, connecting trailer owners directly with the people who need them.

Our mission is simple: bridge the gap between owners with a trailer sitting idle and the people who need them for a project. Whether you are a contractor, a landscaper, a farmer, or someone planning a big move, finding the right trailer has traditionally meant a rental counter and a long list of fees. Meanwhile, thousands of trailers sit unused in driveways across the country.

What makes us different

We are an advertising platform, and only an advertising platform. We put you in touch with the owner and then get out of the way.

That means no commission, no booking fees and no service fees — for owners or for renters. You agree the terms directly with the other party and the money goes straight in your pocket. Owners keep the roughly 20% that a broker or another website would take just for making the introduction.

For trailer owners

You set the rates, the terms and the conditions. Your trailer is showcased exactly as you want it, and you decide who you lend it to. Every trailer gets a permanent web address of its own that you can share anywhere, and if you advertise more than one, a single group link shows them all together.

Advertising costs a simple flat annual rate. Nothing else.

For renters

Browsing is free and open — no account needed to look. Search by region, trailer type and the dates you need, and see availability before you get in touch.

When you find the right trailer, register for a free account. Then send the owner an inquiry with your details and the dates you have in mind. They will get back to you directly.
